One of the supermodels of 2012 – Samira Mohamed Ali, 28 years, born to Arabic father and Portuguese mother moved to UK with her family has been doing modeling from the age of 11. Euro Disney as Princess Jasmine Look-a-like Samira made a beginning. She is in to TV programs, films at just 18 years of age, running a Sub Banking Branch by the time she was 20.  She was interviewing top banking directors and financial executives for HSBC’s Internal Communications Department, a TV channel aired once a week to all HSBC branches across the UK.

Samira was in Welsh Film Company for a pilot CGI-generated program in which she plays a witch opposite actor Michael Sheen’s nephew. Coming soon, Samira plays the lead role of model ‘It Girl’ Gabrielle in Romanian horror film Spiritual Phantom, directed by Rares Ceuca and Asjid Ash Khan, a Render Studios production that is due for release in 2013.

Samira worked with a huge array of high profile international brands and corporations ranging from exclusive celebrity dentist Durian & Specktor to leading hair specialists Redken and Aveda for Best Hair Award in Wales. Samira has fronted Portuguese billboards and has been involved in a string of prestigious events, including Jennifer Lopez and Rhianna VIP launch parties, and many beauty and talent competitions such as Miss Face of Europe, Miss American Dream Wales and Miss Wales.

She has signed her first Indian film in Kannada titled as ‘Badshah’. She met the media in Bangalore at Abhimani Convention center. I am an international super model and acted in two big movies. I am happy with the two liners told to me by director Vijay for ‘Badshah’. The content has universal appeal. The film also gets the wide market. I heard the song Rama Rama song of music director Veera Samarth.

Samira has interesting portion in the second half of ‘Badshah’. She is not the heroine but has important role to perform.
